    Hi

At the moment I have a spare wooden viv measuring 48" (length) by 15" (height) by 12" (depth). I have kept cresties in the past and was looking into getting a few more. Would the viv in question be suitable for them?

i suposes it could work, but a cresty would be much happier if the 48 was the height. is there any way you can turn it on its side?

Exactly what I was thinking of doing. How many you think could happily live in a viv of that size?

Thats about a 38 gallon, I wouldnt house anymore than 4 in there but due to the lack of floorspace I would only keep about 3 max =)

The general rule of thumb is; a minimum of 20gal for the first, and +10gal for each additional crestie.
