Recently, or just yesturday late basically. I have found a iguana in need of rescue, so I did. It a male adult, about 5 years in age. He has a huge attitude, can't even get close without it hissing and puffing. Then it wants to whip you if you try to touch him, even by walking pass him gets him angry. I could see he has no trust in humans. Can I have pointers on what to do to tame him?
This is normal, There is a method I used called T-Touch and it worked very well. You must have patience but it did help me with my igg. --> http://reptileapartment.com/2011/12/15/ttouch-for-rehabilitating-reptiles/ Also for care I use Melissa Kaplan's work like a bible for iggs. --> http://www.anapsid.org/iguana/ If he thinks it's breeding season try giving him a stuffed animal (green) as a release for the aggression and other things....
