OK, my Three toed box turtle is still hibernating, and I want to ask a few questions about what all I should do when she wakes up. First of all, I should let her wake up by herself, right? After she wakes up, I'll take her in and soak her in Nolvasan. Then I'll give her a salad, and I'll dig up some earthworms. The salad will contain collard and mustard greens, carrot shavings, some blueberrys and her favorite (for a treat); banana. After that, I'll scedual a vet appointment for her, and fix up her habitat (outdoors, in houston texas, around 10' square. 1/5 of it is a cave in the shade. So i'm not too woried about her getting too hot. Theres a 2' circular shallow pool, and a bunch of flat assorted rocks where the sun shines on the habitat, the other corner is just a bunch of foliage and dead tree limbs. What do you guys think? I'll post a pic when I upload the newest one from my camera Thanks. P.S. Do you think it would be too humid for a russian tortoise in an outdoor Houston environment? If so, what would you recommend to go with a Three toed box turtle?
