We do not know what we are doing wrong - the crickets keep dying. We've bought them at two different supply stores thinking maybe another place would give us better luck, but not so. We cleaned a 10gal and set it up with papertowels, egg carton and apple, carrot, the bran they came in, plus a dish with the cricket food recommended. Not all of them but alot died in 48 hours - all collected in the corner. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
Hi, I would remove the papertowel and just have the bran etc on floor. The rest of setup sounds fine. Crickets need to be kept warm and dry, damp is the major killer. They survive better when temps are in the high 70's to low 80's
