so, here are a few pics of my old and new tank OLD: and here is my new setup: and this is my moist hide, tho im not sure if she likes it very much or not: its a 20g long, whereas my old tank was just a 10g. oh and she's on tiles now, not sand.
Ok ive got my cage completed, here it is!! i changed the shelf liner color completed the upper level, added my thermometers and a repti hammock. tell me what you think!! Thanks 4 looking!
Here's one of my setups, two 10 gallon tanks. The other setup is in the guest bedroom which is a complete disaster, so here's the neatest setup. And thats my cat Ginger on the bottom.
thanks! she doesn't use it too often just yet, but maybe over time...or maybe not, lol. hasn't used the hammock yet either.
Thanks! That's my sister's tank. She made it. She got the stuff from the craft section of walmart. Cheap & easy hide.
Mine is nothing special, just a 10 gallon. Upgrading soon. (And getting a probe thermometer this week):
My tank is a 20 gallon long. When i first got her, i had green carpeting in there, with a vine on the back, a tree and a hide. I recently updated. This is what it looked like when i first got her. sorry for not having a shot of the whole tank. I went and made a back for her tank using the tutorial i found on this website. It's made out of rigid polystyrene foam board, spray foam, tile grout, and spray paint. It's still her original hide and water dish. I'm using a tile for substrate. she seems to like it I'm working on a new hide for her that'll match the back. I'll post pics when it's done
Lets try this again. Doopa's Tank Sorry. I resized the pictures to make them smaller. Looks like something got screwed up along the way. So I have a 20 gallon long tank. I made the background out of rigid polystyrene foam, tile grout and spray painted it to make it look like it was rock. I have a single slate tile for her substrate. It's 12" x 24" tile that I got for free. I work at an architecture firm and we get samples all the time. I'm using a Zilla Products (formerly ESU Reptile) double incandescent hood with a 25 and 50 watt Red Heat Basking lamps. Both bulbs are from Zilla again. Using a Zilla rock den hide, and a generic water bowl. I'm in the process of making her another hide. Here are the pics. Her tank The background after I painted it Side view This is when i first got her. Look how little she is compared to the thermometer! Look at her now!
Alright, here is Bowser and Yoshi's tank. They are still small right now, so it fits their need, but I plan on getting them something bigger in the near future. I know I have the crappy dial thermometers in there, but I have an IR one on the way. They will also be on tile very soon. Being from Canada, I used the most common resource I could find to make secure climbing areas and hides... There is about an inch deep area behind the semi circular pyramid of pucks where they can hide, and they can go all in between them. They have many levels to choose their temperature. The log in the middle is also a hide that they love. The last pic is Yoshi, and in the first you can see Bowser's foot in the moist hide.
