Our little guy passed away Wednesday morning. He was struggling with insulinoma since last February, but his treatments were going well enough. Then on Wednesday with no warning he just curled up in his favorite pair of jeans and left us. He was only five, not young but not terribly old for a ferret. We are heartbroken. He was our first ferret, and he is the reason we have two others now. He was the sweetest little guy, when he was well he had so much energy and joy and love. I know he isn't suffering anymore, but he is very sorely missed.
I'm sorry to hear. He looks so sweet, I can only imagine how quiet it must feel without him there. I hope you can find some comfort in knowing how great of a life you gave him.
