I want to get some ideas on how to decorate or what some of the custome reptile enclosures look like out there. For any reptile, amphibian, or in between if you can post a pic of what you have that'd be great thanks.

Well, cages will very greatly depending on what you are keeping, but here is an enclosure that I built for a BCI.

This is our Great Plains Ratsnake Exhibit. The rockwall is real. We took a 120 lb slab of sandstone and chiseled the smaller pieces out. A cage has to be extremely well framed to handle that much weight.

This is our Prehensile-Tailed Skink Exhibit. The plants have been changed but the overall look is the same.

This is our amphibian enclosure. It houses out Tiger Sal and our White's Tree Frog.

This is our "desert" exhibit. It houses two Yellow-Striped Plated Lizards.
It has also changed. Oh! And I should also note that the pumpkins were Halloween decorations...they're not always there! lol

This is a look at the back of all four enclosures, and gives you a look at how they stack together.

Sorry about the links, you'll have to cut and paste them. Webshots won't link right today. Some days it works, some days it doesn't. Oh well!

Oops, those pics aren't loading BioChic. You might just want to change them into regular links. If I copy+paste the address into a new window they load. So it looks like webshots just doesn't want you displaying images they host right inside other pages.

Yeah, probably because they were already in your cache from when you looked at them before you posted.

Hmm... it looks like webshots doesn't want you linking directly to images either... I just tried one and it came up with "Forbidden"...

Well, I guess, yeah copy+paste to a new browser window is going to be the only way to see 'em like you said - rather than clicking on the links directly.

It's strange that they won't work. They usually do. As long as I'm not linking to a picture I'm viewing from my login at Webshots. It usually works if you link from the pics as a guest. Oh well...they're there in some sense anyways. LOL

Here's my leopard gecko cage. Made from melamine coated mdf with solid oak face frame, sliding front doors, removable screen top. Wired with Helix DBS 1000 environmental control system to maintain day temp of 90 and nightdrop of 75 F. One live plant, one fake palm, corkbark and playsand. 60 Watt incadescent for the plant. Exterior finish is Rustoleum Stone Creations (fuax granite) textured finish.

Here's an overhead view showing screen top and incandescent light. To the right of the light is the photosensor that works with the Helix system.

Hi Biochic, They all appear to load up fine from my end. Was just now looking at them. The gecko cage gave me trouble yesterday but I corrected a format error with the IMG and it's popping up fine here. Oh well. Here's a link to the gecko cage:

It keeps saying "Forbidden", just like my pics did to Axe. I'll try cutting and pasting the links.

Did you document the build of your enclosure with pics? That thing rocks!!!! If you had plans I'd like to see them.
