OK first time ever getting silkworms (mulberry farms)

got the ones with the chow in them

so how do i store these guys?

my understanding is in a tank etc. with some ventilation....sprinkle some chow for them to eat and make sure it dries out completely before feeding them more etc.

but really....how do i get all of these worms in the tank without dumping this PILE of chow all over them?
it seems mulberry farms gives me WAYYYY more chow than i need.

but it seems the only way to get them out without adding ALL of that chow is to hand pick all of the worms out? then remove some feces from the container....then sprinkle some chow??

just wondering if there is an easier method out there

in the future i'll def buy the worms and chow separate knowing now that my lil guy will eat them

    thanks much all-

Hi, Not sure about keeping them but transfering may be easy.
Have you got a flour seive or other fine seive in kitchen, tip them into it over a bowl, should be left with worms, tranfer to tank then add the chow.
    Just an idea.
