I have a new corn snake. I plan to feed it frozen mice. In the winter I frequently catch mice in my basement - is it bad to feed them to the snake? I realize that the mice may be too big right now since I have a juevenile snake but I wasn't sure if there were intrinsic problems with this approach.

the mice from ur basement have probaly been in many dirty places (like sewers) with infections and parasites and deseases and all sorts of terrible things
i dont know mush about snakes but i dont think it would be very healthy to ur snake if u catch them urself

Thanks - makes sense. I found more information on this topic in the Snake section also. I'll stick with the frozen ones.
