    Hi Guys!

I was interested in purchasing a Mercury Vapor bulb for my Uro as well as for my beardie. I found that Zoo-Med is offering a 100-watt, 160-watt and 275-watt bulb and they are pretty affordable. Powersun is also offering the MV bulbs but I wanted to get some input.

Have any of you used them? and is it true that they work as both a heat and UV source?

Id apprechiate any help I can get with this. Thanks!

I have, use and LOVE my MegaRay's from Bob Mac. His web-site is www.reptileuv.com As far as I know, the MegaRay's are the highest out-put MVB's currently available. They come in 2 forms, EB (external ballast) with is UVB & very little heat and SB (self-ballasted) which provised heat & UVB. T-Rex offers MVB's as well, but I find they're not as sturdy.
