    not exactly, but you should shorten daylight hrs for a couple months, they will be less active, sleep more, and eat less

    Technically, some go through a period called brumation. It's not quite hibernation, but they may eat little or nothing for a couple weeks to a couple of months. It generally occurs in the middle of the winter (if your leo does this). Some never do go into brumation and others do. Watch around Dec/ Jan and see all the posts that start popping up about leos not eating. :)

    yeh. a lot of people who are new to owning them sometimes get the photo period a little wrong and temps a little wrong. the amount of people it worries because they dont know what has happened to there leo is untrue.
