Bedding

    I was wondering if a honduran milk would be fine on a mixture of cypress bark and aspen shavings. He's currently on straight aspen but hes getting rather large and needs to be moved to a 20 long. The reason about mixing is because i think it may look a little nicer...i think neway. If you can answer my question thanks to you.

    The trouble with bark substrates are they tend to harbour a lot of bacteria. The mulch should be fine though.

    I would recommend just the aspen. The bark probably will not be harmful to the snake but it is harder to burrow in. You can "pretty it up" with some fake plants.
