So most of our cocoons have burst forth into fluttery moths. I seem to have a larger proportion of males, but I have about 6 females (some have laid eggs and the eggs are getting brownish-yay). I can't wait until the rest emerg. I have been feeding some of the males to my dragons, as there is no point to having so many. I hope that is okay, the dragons seem fine. Well, I just had to share, I was worried that my little project wasn't going to be successful.
Well done tamnmarc. I assume you are referring to silk moths?? I have had no success with silkies at all. My first (and last) batch of silk worms cost me £25 for 400 and within 2 days they were all dead! I followed the care sheets and everything - maybe I just wasn't meant to keep them lol I have however just discovered that I am a dab hand at getting waxworms to turn to moths and meal worms to turn to beetles
