Thought I'd post these here in case anyone was considering building their own racks using PVC. This stuff works great. Same thing many cage and rack companies use. Much lighter than melamine. Check your area for any plastics supplier and if you have any near you that carries XPVC sheets and want to build your own racks give it a try and you'll never use wood again! These hold 14/12qt tubs or 7/28qt tubs or a mixture of both. Cost of these was about $125 w/heat and took a few minutes to assemble. Here is one of the CB70 racks: Holds 9 CB70 tubs and cost $210 w/heat! CB110 tub rack: Hope this helps a few DIY'ers out there!....
Sorry I hadn't replied sooner. Been a while since I dropped by here and just getting back to the swing of things. All are mine and I've since built a few more to cover two walls and moved all the CB racks (adult Ball pythons) into another room/home office. Hoping next year to finish, actually start my own incubator out of PVC.
At this moment, 128 snakes (28 are 09 babies) the rest are yearlings, sub-adults and adults. We're expecting another 50-100 more 09 babies over the next 1-4MO. After the 09 babies are sold off and we add a few new ones this year (hoping to add a Clown and a Caramel Ball python), all in all I should end this year with appx 120-125.
