Wild Shingleback

    Hi,

    i've been going herping quiet alot lately although i almost never take my camera along. I spotted this shingleback on my holiday. As common as they are i had never taken a photo of one. This is the west australian sub spp. (Tiliqua Rugosa Rugosa) these show more colour than the rottnest and eastern form. He was very take and i had a hold of him and fed him some grapes and pear then let off to roam around again. So here's the picL:

    He is a member of the blue tongue family (Tiliqua) and he had a very bright blue tongue. He only showed it once and now i wish i would've taken a photo.
