After spending two weeks there, I figured the world was better off if I didn't work at a nuclear plant :)

    Y'all crack me up!

Free-lance artist for about 35 years (BS Biological Illustration); certified Animal Health Technician (State of Oregon) but do not currently work for a vet; art teacher (grades K-12)...currently teaching art to homeschooled kids at home and being a stay at home mom. Gotta love that.

My husband is the "breadwinner", has a PhD in horticulture and is seeking a new position before his contract is up in June...so we may be relocating to who knows where and I may have to get a "real" job!

And then there are the forum admins that let you think you are irritating them :)

I am a social worker for the state for chidlren in state or private foster care. Started out in a private marine lab in medical research, but the state took it over and somehow I ended up a social worker... you gotta go where the pay is so you can have the funds to do what you love

Rocky, your about 20 minutes south of us, we live off Bee Ridge in Sarasota.

Powderfinger really is a bum and has used a TON of our electric, sodas, pizza... but he demands little so we tolerate him

I work for a broadcasting company that owns five local radio stations. I run sales statistics on all five stations (I basically crunch numbers and run reports all day for the mangers... I'm the station's math nerd :) ).

However, they do let me do an on-air show on Sunday afternoons for the Oldies station. (See... the job does have some perks!)

    Hello All,

Being this my second post on this website, I have been lurking around for awhile -- with the recent addition of a leopard gecko, you guys and gals are a phenomenal wealth of knowledge! Thank you. I was just browsing, and was interested in this post. It’s great to see such a diverse group here!

Anyhow, I work for a Railroad that spans across all of North America. -- Management position called a Trainmaster.

Mxracer4life -- We go right through Carbondale, I work for the CN (Canadian National Railroad) which spans from Vancouver --> Halifax --> New Orleans. In the states it used to be called the Illinois Central Railroad between Chicago and New Orleans. Write me a private message, I'll see what I can do to direct your brother in the right direction.

High school student trying to juggle full time courses (3 sciences, 2 languages, math challenge program etc.) with working at save on foods (grocery store) and any extra curricular business I wish to partake in. Next year I'm going to be doing work experience at the Vancouver aquarium.

Hi guys. New here. My husband and I own our own garage business (MOT's, repairs, tyres etc.) and I am also studying for a Hons Degree in Adult Psychology. Between the two of them and the family (humans and herps!) I have my hands pretty much full but once I complete my course will be able to concentrate on getting a holiday.

Currently working as a Union Printer for Smurfit-Stone. If you've ever seen a Campbell's Soup label I probably had a hand in its creation. I'm also a Part-Time college student at DeVry University and studying Computer Information Systems.
