thinking of buying one as it's going cheap and comes with a few things such as dishes etc. Was wondering what species I would be able to keep in a tank of that size. Bare in mind i'm experienced also as I have 10 other lizards and 2 scorpions. It's an exo-terra 45x45x45cm
Crested gecko, Gargoyle Gecko, Golden Gecko, do some research on their care before you buy them as I am not 100% sure
Hmm...thats not a very large tank, there arent a lot of species that would work well in there. You could get away with one crested gecko, but they would do better in a slightly larger tank. A smaller species of Day gecko might work, an anole or possible a pair would work, you could also do some tree frogs - a few small green tree frogs or a couple of larger red eye tree frogs. House geckos would be fine as well. Due to its "cube" shape you would have better luck with arboreal animals because your floor space will be limited - however, 45cm is only about 17inches (sorry i cant really visualize cm's) so the tank will not be HUGE so you would definately want to stick with smaller species.
I already have a crestie so want something new. Might get an anole or two like I said in another thread. Thanks guys.
They are quite nice but I prefer anoles. Would I be able to have two females in that sized enclosure?
any small boids will work great. my pacific boa is fine with a tank smaller than that. but good luck with whatever you choose..!
