Most pet stores like petco and petsmart sell digital thermo/hydrometers for $20. Walmart sells them for 12 but you need to supply batteries.
I picked some up from Wal Mart for around $7 a piece and they work fine. You can spend a little more and get ones with temp probe. Then you will get humidity and temps on both side of the enclosure
