I only chose based on my PERSONAL experience. I have found that the Boa we own and others I know are more moody than the corns I have seen. That doesn't mean they're mean or bitey or anything, just more moody! Gotta be a bit more cautious around them, I find. Again, like I said, this was based on Personal experience. Corns are much more active, and I find mine aren't content to just sit around the neck like a Boa would. So Boas are definitely nice that way!
Personal experience, adult Sand Boa is the calmest snake I've ever seen. Baby Sand Boas can be very nippy (but the teeth aren't big enough to break skin I don't think) but all the adults I've encountered have been placid.
yea i've always wanted to pet a kenyan,, but i think next time when i grow up (my parents wouldn't allow me to keep snake at home so i pet 1 at SCHOOL) and thats a very calm monotree or you could say candoia carinata,
I choose based on my personal experience. I think retics are wonderful (if you have the room) I think all the horror stories I've heard about them being nippy is 100% true. I've been bit more by my ball pythons to tell you the truth.
retic can be absolutely tempramental,, it sometimes bite, and yea a bite from bp is not nice, but a retic could have a very fatal bite that cn kill.. and i dont want that happened,, and if u have a family i nur place (child or old person), thats even worse!
Its a toss up between my RTB and Ball python. I voted RTB, they are just the sweetest tempermets overall balls are really nice too but can skitz out some times, woosey snakes.
