swolen face

    i have a curly tail lizard who's face i noticed today is really swolen on one side, its right between where his mouth ends and his ear, its not brusied or discolored looking and hes still eating and acting normal but im kind of worried about him, i'v had him for a little over two years and never had any trouble with him before. any ideas on what it might be???

    It's very possible that it has an infection of some sort. If there are no visible signs of cuts or scrapes watch it for a day or so to see if there is any change. If it does not get better then get to a vet.

    good to catch early signs of infection! Keep an eye on it. You may want to read about mouth rot just in case...and search through the internet about you lizard and diseases/infections it could have.
