I believe the size of a snake has more to do with the amount it eats than its age, but is there any general guideline about what I might expect from a 1.5 year old corn snake? I'm talking to someone on-line right now about purchasing one and they are gone until the new year so I can't ask them right now.

    Thanks a bunch.

You're right, it's more about how much they eat than their age.

A corn on a good healthy feeding regiment should probably be around 3-4ft at 18 months. If it's bigger than 4ft, it's almost certainly been powerfed (fed far too much to bring them up to a breeding size at a young age, for obvious reasons). If it's much under 3ft, then it's probably not been fed enough, or it may have something else going on causing it to not grow as big (or as quickly) as it should.
