So i found this new product that i am going to try out called Repti Heat Cable. It seems like a great solution for my large 6' tall iguans' enclosure. The problem i always has have is warming the lower portion of the encloure. I'm not completely sure how to use it. I was told you can use it inside or outisde with of a wooded cage. I was told that the iguanas shouldn't come in contact with it. So i was wondering has anyone used this and if so how. I'm just looking for ideas.

i've never used one, but i think i know what you're talking about. i would *definately* put it on the OUTSIDE of the cage! if you're having problems heating any part of the cage, heat lamps should be used if at all possible.
