We put Cici and Kiki in the same cage and I noticed Kiki do something odd. She arm waved and then tried to charge Cici (we had a divider). Now if I am correct, arm waving is a submissive behavior. Can any one desipher this behavior?
Arm waving is generally a submissive behavior, though there are exceptions. Bearded dragons will regularly establish a heirarchy in the presence of others - perhaps Kiki was trying to 'challenge' Cici within the confines of "her" territory; or maybe she was performing a submissive behavior early on to prevent future conflict and wanted to let Cici know that she is dominant. Really not 100% sure though, I've not had an opportunity to witness this behavior first hand and I have no idea what exactly goes on in beardie minds.
I was thinking she may have gotten some behaviors confused, which I have never heard of but oh well, anything is possible. No one knows whats going on in ANY minds other than there own. I wonder what my lizards dream of, probably crickets as far as the eye can see.
Actually in 20 years, they say they should have the tecnologgy to be able to record your dreams, then watch them. I am probably going to use it on my dogs first if you want me to be honest.
the awkward moment where the technology becomes self aware, hacks into the mainframe and recreates the dreams into physical beings that inevitibly hunt down the dreamer and destroys them. a special team will be put together to fight the beings, and after 10 long and hard years the world would be ridded of the artificial beings. the team of 20 will enter the main building and find the original machine that created the dreams. 20 enter and 5 return. the world will be rid of the evil, but it will never be the same. the population has been wipped out, but we will rebuild because we are humans. today the technology fell, but soon it will be all of us. soory i couldnt help it. lol. how big is your cage
We dont keep them in the same cage, but Kiki is in a 25 gallon tank, while Cici is in a custom built 30 square inch tank.
oh ok. i was wondering since you said they were divided. you could just put come cardboard in between them
