New Site Features, other changes.

This is an excellent site. Two questions:
Sometimes a thread I have been watching stops showing up in my emails,
and what are those little red dots on the "no new posts" symbol in the in topic lists?

 

Those little red dots mean that you have posted in that thread.

 

I just now figured that out...thanks Lane!

 

Once all the changes are complete, I'll be creating a single post here in the forum containing all of them. That way people know all that's been done to the forums

 

Of course, it's going to be a 12 page post....lots of changes!

 

hurry up and finish already im getting anxious lol....!!!!

 

I just got the message "*removed*", when trying to view a post. I'm sure it's just all the kinks being worked out.

Yup, that was just a quick MySQL error. That was one of those random flukes that turns up occasionally

 

Okies, a quick extra...

When you're viewing topics now, you'll see that the Gallery icon ONLY shows up if a user actually has uploaded images to their gallery.

It also now show on your user profile only if you've uploaded images. Not only that, if you have uploaded images to your gallery, it will show up to your 6 most recently uploaded images (and those images will link to the appropriate pages in your gallery). If you've only uploaded 2 images, it'll only show 2, if you've uploaded 4 it'll show 4, if you've uploaded 50, it'll show 6.

The last major change for this year I think. I will still be tweaking it, and doing lil things here and there, but this is my last new project for 2005.

I don't know if any of you have looked in your private messages recently, but go have a peek at the new layout.

Like I said, I will still be tweaking the site, and the new private messaging system, and if you guys spot any errors or bugs, let me know!
