Hello all, I am new to this community and I only have "basic" knowledge of reptile housing. (UVA, UVB, temperature, etc.) What I really need help with is enclosure building help. I will try to explain as much as I can about what I am trying to do, so please bare with me. I am looking to build single multiple housing unit for the store that I work for. The units (there are 5 total I will explain in a second each unit): Max Height - 9ft // Max Width - 10ft // Max Depth - 3ft -First Unit- (1 reptile tank) (1st unit) -- Houses Chameleon 9ft Height // 2ft Wide // 3ft Deep -Second Unit- (3 reptile tanks) (2nd unit top) -- Houses Tokay Gecko (2nd unit middle) -- Houses White Line Gecko (or similar) (2nd unit bottom) -- Houses other wall crawling gecko/reptiles 9ft Height // 2ft Wide // 3ft Deep Each individual enclosure is 1 1/2ft Wide // 2ft Height // 2 1/2ft Deep -Third // Fourth // Fifth Unit- (5-6 reptile tanks) These tanks are for baby/small bearded dragons, 9ft Height // 2ft Wide // 3ft Deep Each individual enclosure is 1 1/2ft Wide // 1ft Height // 2 1/2ft Deep Those are the basic dimensions of the enclosures. The First Unit and Second Unit both have misting units (I'm thinking of using pvc pipe) and each unit has its own IN/OUT exhaust system (I'm thinking of using 1 computer fan for both units) The Third through the Fifth Units all have IN/OUT exhaust systems as well, which is located at the BACK TOP of the enclosures. The main problem I am having is that I need to know the basic material to use for:: Frame - Thinking of using 2 x 4's for a BASIC frame // Waterproofed, etc Plexiglas - Thinking of using this for the enclosures Exterior - I don't know, though I do know that it should be able to be painted easily. I am on a budget as I am buying the supplies before I will be reimbursed, that being said - Are there cheap(er) building materials then the ones I am thinking of using? If so what would they be? Where can I purchase them? Is there any ideas, suggestions that I should do, look into? Any other information that you think is relevant would be very helpful. Thank you very much, I look forward to everyone's input
