So this is my boa constrictor Penny. :) I was looking online for a larger snake when I came across her. She was 3 years old, five feet long and living in a 40 gallon. They couldn't keep her anymore, only because they didn't have the time for her anymore. I right away emailed the owner and we went to buy her.

This was the tank we brought her home in.

I gave her a larger water dish and some newspaper.

A few weeks later, she settled in pretty well and started eating, finally.

I knew that she needed much more room, so we got working on building her a larger enclosure (6x2x2). Needless to say, she loved it. :)

Of course, the substrate needed to be changed, and decorations added. Here's her tank now. :)

Thanks :) I actually wish she would grow a little more, but I guess she's just a small girl, lmao. I think she's done growing. :(

Well, its not the size of the snake, its the size of the snake's heart. So I think she still has some growing to do ;)

Beautiful Boa PennyLane! Love what you did with the new spacious accomodation = )

How long have you had miss Penny now? At 5ft she may still have a little growing to do, but probably not much. Its a rarity in captivity to see really monstorous boas - it seems the largest that have been brought in are wild caught BCC.
