I hav a sinai painted agama an i reely cant find any info in him/her anywhere so any info would be greatly appreciated. and he keeps injuring his claws by jumping around cos hes very active. Is there anyway can treat his small cuts myself without having to keep paying out for the vet?
Here's a couple of links with some info: http://www.centralpets.com/pages/critterpa...s/LZD5943.shtml http://www.nafcon.dircon.co.uk/laudakia_stellio.htm As for his claws and cuts, I don't understand why he is cutting himself all the time. What type of substrate do you have on? What exactly is he cutting himself on? Most minor cuts and scrapes can be treated with just a little Neosporin (Triple Antibiotic Ointment) applied to the wound. But I'm more concerned about why he's cutting himself so much. Our agamas are very active and climb all over the place and we haven't had any problems with them cutting themselves. Is there something in the cage that he's injuring himself on?
I have medium sort of woodchip for a substrate because he seems to enjoy digging and as of yet i have found no cause for his injury in his vivarium. His claw may have got his claw caught in the glas door as he often tries to escape the vivarium during the day when i am out by scratching at the glass pannels. which may be the reason for his injury. thanks for the websites theyre very help full.
