I usually feed him collard green but he only take a bite then ignore it, seems like he doesnt like the taste,can you give me a second best food that i can give him,as for now he just feed on Ipomoea aquatica which i know that this food doesnt have any nutritional value
Hi, Try Endive, Escarole, romaine lettuce, all are good staple foods. They all have a good Calciumhosphorus ratio (Ca) of 2:1 which is very good. In fact any veg that is chickory based, you can also give a little soft fruit, not much as they contain fairly high sugar levels but are ideal as treats.
Hi, Please dont use Centrum, this is designed for humans and the concentration of vits is totally different to a reptiles needs. For reptiles you need Calcium powder without added D3 and a multi-vit powder such as Herptivite. Calcium should be used daily, (food dusted with it) and herptivite, once or twice a week.
