I have a pretty good amount of bearded dragons. As they got bigger and started eating more I started spending allot of money on just their food. So I decided to breed my own food. It took me a few months to get it strait but now I have accomplished it.

1: First you need a container (10-20 gallon container)

2: Get some toilet or paper towel rolls (for the crix to hide in)

3: Buy 100 or more adult crix (females can lay up to 500 eggs each)

4: Put a little container of moist moss (to lay the eggs in and drink)

5: Take the moss out and put it in another container (spray every other day or enough to keep moss wet)

6: Wait about 2 weeks (after 2 weeks you will see the little white pin heads)

7: Crickets grow very fast feed the lettuce and fish food (life span 4-6 weeks)

Let me know if you have any questions because I like to talk about reptiles and would be glad to share all of my knowledge on there food
