Does anyone have any experience feeding "honey worms" to beardies?

    http://hachikura.cart.fc2.com/ca159/274/p-r159-s/

I am living in Japan and it is difficult to get a wide variety of feeder worms but I have seen these advertised as an option?

Are they just wax worms by a different name?

Thanks for any help on this

Based on the description on that page, they are definitely waxworms. (It says they are a moth larvae found in bee's nests--waxworms are exactly that.)

As a treat, they are fine, and your beardie will love them. However, they should not be given on a regular basis as they are very high in fat.

I'm not sure what kind of worms are available for shipping in your country, but try to find silk worms or soldier fly larvae if you are planning on feeding worms as your staple protein source.

Welcome to the boards and let us know if you have any more questions! =D

Fantastic, thanks for confirming Cammy. Much appreciated.
The same site also has silkworms and I have placed an order - I am sure Zeus will love them (even if they were $13 for 500g !!)
Will also get some wax worms for the odd treat.

    Thanks again
