I was wondering if I were to soak gauze sponges in water, would my dubia roach colony be able to use this to hydrate? I understand Dubia roaches don't need much humidity anyway, but does this seem logical? I don't know if gauze sponges have any kind of residue or medicating chemicals in them that would be harmful...any feedback? Thanks.

Hm.... I have no idea. I would think that they do not have anything and that they are very sterile (can't have anything on them in case someone is allergic to whatever is on them).
