70-75 is a good temperature for corns at night.

They get temperatures much colder than that at night for some of the year in the wild. Right now it's getting down to 40 and 50 degrees at night, and the corns are doing fine in the wild.

Mine get about 70-75 degrees at night, and warm area temps around 85-90 during the day (areas from which they can escape to cool off)...

If you find that a 75watt light is getting it too warm, simply switch to a lower bulb, like a 60watt or maybe even a 40watt...

The air temperature at night may be only 70-75, but over the heatpad it's going to be plenty warm enough for the snake.

Trust me, as long as it's fed regularly, and has fresh water available, it'll be just fine :)
