Feeding Fruit to Tegus

Hi all, I am trying to get my black and white tegu to eat more fruit. I would prefer it if he actually liked to eat it but thats not happening. I have been hiding it in ground turkey. What my question is, what fruits have people had good luck with them liking? I have tried banana (which is the only one he actually took on his own with no meat around), peach, pear, grape, blueberry and raspberry.

Try rolling the grapes to him. Sometimes they will eat it if it's moving, lol.

 

my tegu eats peaches when shes in the mood,but i havent found any other fruits she likes i feed mine eggs, mice, crickets,and peaches, but ill be sure to try the bannas and some ground turkey but what other types of meat do you feed your tegu?

 

You might want to try fruit cocktail, my brothers loves it!

Sorry Bruno lol I always forget to look at the dates... never seems like there are a whole lot of active threads, or at least not ones I could reply to... maybe I'll try and post some stuff to try and get people talking
