fake rock

the polysterene that i bought was white, and i'm not having any problems with it.

 

Did kinda the same thing as Freaky_Pete but cut out shapes with foam board then covered with fiberglass tape an coated it with thin set mortar, its suprisingly light and the whole cage took my about 3 hours to complete.

wow thats pretty cool! i hope for mine to be completed within 3 or 4 more days... im taking me time, making sure the grout is fully cured before i go to the next step. thats the same color i chose! yea i thought id be slightly darker as well. but with the second coat it is darker than the first; im just hoping that a third coat will make it even darker.
