I was doing some research on diurnal snakes since it would be nice to have some pets that I do not have to wait until midnight to watch. One site said cali kings are diurnal. Is this true? Are any other kings diurnal? I like mexican black kings. I also read Indigo's are diurnal but they are threatened so not that easy to get. I know the fox snake and western hognose are diurnal but I do not normally see foxes for sale and Hogs are small and rearfanged.

I catch my albino cali king out several times during the day but i see her even more during the night.

You can't go wrong with a cali king or a MBK(mexican black king)...i have both and they have great temperaments. So if you do want to get one i know you'll enjoy them.

My banana king is out alot during the day. Likes to watch what is going on. My MBK is still a baby but I still see her from time to time.
