Crickets hatched but...

    My crickets hatched so I put them in a big plastic bin but before I could even get it should most got out..they are fast...any tips to stop this?

    Yes, they are fast. I'm not sure what you had them in before or what you were putting them into.

    If they are in a small closed container, you might want to put the container into their new home before you open it.

    If they are getting out of their new home, you might want to try running packing tape along the top edges and especially corners before you put them into it.

    I usually don't transport hatchling crickets. I wait until they're about 1/4 inch or bigger. For one thing, small crickets are so small that the bristles of a paint brush can squish them, so they don't sweep into a container very easily.

    Don't let them dry out, but also don't let them get near any drops of water. These little guys will easily drown themselves in just one drop of water.
