    Hey everyone,
I'm new here but already need some help. I just acquired (adopted) a 9 wk juvi crested from a friend. The little guy won't eat anything. I can make he/she eat if I smear babyfood on its mouth, but he tries to wipe it off before he finally licks it. It won't touch any crickets either. Everything is set up the same that I raised my other two cresteds (10gal, room temp (70-78°F), climbing vines...) It has stayed at 7.0g for two weeks now and is not as 'spunky' as before. Any ideas on how to make him eat?

    Thanks,
    Lisa

How long have you had him? He could still be getting used to his new envoronment. Take some of the decor out, make it easier for him. He should be in a relatively simple setup at this age, which will help him hunt too. Make sure your room is dark when he is active also, they only hunt when lights are out.

Mealworms are ok, but crickets will catch his eye much easier. Mealworms have alck of movement and most cresteds ignore them
