    how do i tell a bci from a bcc when buying at a breeders expo?

    It's really difficult to say becuase you would really have to put two side by side the first few times to tell the differences. Most of the time the BCC will have a lighter background color and a much brighter red in the tail. A BCC will also sometimes have a peak in the middle of the saddle when the BCI is just a smooth arch across the back on the saddles. As the snake gets older the difference will be more easy to see. The BCC will hold the lighter background and red while the BCI will fade to a darker gray or brown and loose a lot of the red they have in the tail as babies. BCC's also tend to get larger than BCI's
