I was wondering, I have a new Ig (approx 14" head to tail)
Is it possible to feed it too much of a correct diet?
Should I keep a constant (healthy) food source available to him at all times? (eg: iguana salad)??

My little guy seems to eat all that I give him, whenever I give it (2 -3) times a day! I am very glad to see that he has done this since the 1st day I brought him home.

I give him approx 1 rounded table spoon full each time.

What is the proper amount for his size?

any comments or suggestions are welcome!!

it is almost impossible to overfeed an iguana. always keep fresh food in for him to eat all around. the proper amount for his size is as much as he will eat. he will need all of the energy to grow.

i agree with klik - it's almost impossible to overfeed and ig . . . as long as they have the proper diet, that is!!
