Hi. This is my first post :)

Well, I was wondering if anybody can help me identify my tortoise. I just got it and I want to know the breed so that I can care for it properly. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

That is a baby texas tortoise. They can be mistaken as a redfoot because of the shell but as you can tell it doesn't have the yellow scales on its head or red scales on its feet.

Nice looking Texas rtortoise (Gopherus berlandieri)...can't legally keep them in Texas, but they're really cool little beasts. :)
