Ok I have an entertainment center, it is approx 4'L x 3'H x 1.5' plus a bottom section for storage. Now I would like to conver this to a home for two bearded dragons and a ball python. I was thinking of sectioning it in half to make it 4'x1.25'x1.5'. One home on top and one on bottom? Could that be possible? Would 1.25' h be tall enough, for the snake and the beardies? How would I attach the glass to the center? Here is a pic of the center:
i see the pic perfectly. the bottom part for storage would be good for a ball python and then leaved the top for the beardies. as for attaching the glass you can go to home deopt and buy the parts to make the glass slide. you make one overlap the other this way when you close it there wont be any crickets escaping.
that would not be tall enough to make an eclosure for a bd much less 2. 1.5' is only 18" and that would be i think a min for hieght for a bd as well as wide 48"x18"x18" would be min requirements with (plus) extra space for lights. 15" would not allow enough room for lights & accomodate bds. if the entertainment center would be converted into 1 enclosure, that would make a nice bd home, i don't know how much space your ball python will need. good luck
yes sorry 1.5' is the width.. I can make the entire thing the home for the BD and just keep the BP in his original tank. Well I dunno still just in the thinking stage right now. Thanks for teh help. the pic works fine for me and i think that it will work. i think slimmy thought that 1.5' was the height
