bath

    im giving him "our" first bath -- (only had him since thurs) what depth do you reckon?? i have read they swim well but again i have also read about head height from a lying position??? which would be about 3-4 inches?? is taht plenty of water you think??

    i used to put a rock that he (my ig) could rest on and keep water at a hidth that he could swim in and get on to the dry rock.

    Depends on how large your ig is. They can swim fairly well, but there's no need for anything too deep. Make sure the water is warm...not hot though. If this is his first 'bath' then I'd only put him in enough water to cover his belly and feet...just enough so he can lay on his belly and still be able to lift his head well above water. Make sure you're supervising the entire time.
