But that's almost suicide, I haven't decided yet if we want to dive into that one yet, but it's in the works and we have been talking to some people about it. We'd also like to have some fun and breed the emperor scorp. You might be wondering, how do we fit all of that stuff into our place? Well, we don't. We just rented a 2 bedroom apartment just for our reptiles (and the kitties live with us). We have a lizard room, a snake/bug room, and then a an extra room for quarantine for our new animals. The things we do for our reptiles... :wink:
There wasn't much of a choice. Before we did that they had one bedroom in our place, and then it was expanded out into the living room, dining room, and the kitchen. So the new apartment has been nice for us all. oh, and I forgot that we also have a male borneo short tail python and female black sumatran blood python... I think the rest are there?
yep. 18 from May 28th is still in the oven, and feng just laid another 20 an hour ago. Akira is due to lay any day too [her first clutch] I should be waist deep in beardies until about December
So your breeding three females?? Thats brave!! lol, I wouldn't dare breed one! You going to go bankrupt on their food! lol... let me work out an estimate on how many crickets a week... well I got 35000 crickets a week! haha, thats working on 50 babies eating 100 crickets a day. Good luck
no, i just have the two sisters. Sheo is the father of all the clutches. Feng is on her 4th clutch, Akira should lay her first this weekend. They would be laying at the same time, but Akira had to go thru quarentine. I wanted to keep the clutch/eg numbers low since this is my first season, i did not brumate sheo and feng did a 'sorta' brumate. Akira was not cooled at all. So far i've spent at least $100 in just crickets. [i get all my crix at shows now] I got evey tank their own MVB and they are growing like weeds! not eating quite a 100 a day yet, more like 50 or so plus some roaches and pellets and greens.

Well, right now I have 3 pets, a dog a cat and a leo, but I used to have (at one time) 1 dog (Toby RIP) 6 cats (Sylvester -RIP-, Bobbi RIP, The kittens --->Teddy, Rudy, Bermuda, and Cream RIP)-Teddy Rudy and Bermuda got sold to loving homes 1 pigmy goat (Buffy RIP) 1 guinea pig (Misty RIP) 3 hermit crabs (Stinky, Hank and Lily -- released) 2 aqua frogs (unnamed RIP) and 4 hamsters. (Nibbles (sold), Peanut (RIP), SAF (RIP), and Sprinkles (RIP) And then I had a carrot tail leopard gecko, Ozzy but he died about a month ago. It has dropped down significantly. :cry: But I'm looking into getting some more herps soon!
