Well, after losing Thoth we had said we'd wait a while, but after walking into a store and seeing these two darlings together we couldn't resist. We have posted pics of Shango and Oshun in the gallery. They saw the vet today and unfortunately have the Coccidia-Isosporia (sp?). He says to fatten them up and then we will start treatment. The vet also got us in touch with a friend of his in South Africa who may be able to give us a lot more info on them. Shango is almost definitely a Montane Agama, but we aren't sure if Oshun is or not. They were listed as Mozambique Agamas at the store, but definitely from South Africa. Both are active and seem to be eating well so far.

If you look in the knowledgebase there is a good article about Coccidia... and yes, if untreated it can be fatal. We're fattening the two of them up right now, so we can start treatment ASAP.
