2 corn snakes

    im thinking about getting 2 corn snakes and breeding them. how big should the tank be to keep them in. i have a 40 gal breeder is that big enough. thanks

    For one snake that is big enough... for two I would go a little bigger.
    If you want to have a better chance at success the snakes should be housed in separate cages until it comes time to breed.

    ok thanks and is a 30 gal long big enough for an adult corn

    I would say it would be a little too small. Figuring a corn snake will get to roughly 4' long you would need a bare minimum of 1 sf per foot of snake. With colubrids I would go with more like 1.5sf per foot of snake because they are more active than the most boids. That means you would want an enclosure that is roughly 3x2.
