    ive been thinking about getting a sav for awhile now and my girlfriend surprised me with one the other week when i got home havent gotten a chance to take many pics just thses ones of it being cute

    Ahhh what a beauty. Can remember when Loki was that small! Hope you have planned ahead and ready for one big lizard! One piece of advice I'd change the substrate to soil/sand mix and he/she will love it.

    Im not sure about using too much sand as savs need high humidity and sand is very dry.

    I have a mix which is like 2/3 soil 1 /3 soil and don't have any problem with humidity. Just makes a good substrate for them to burrow in really.

    Yha I know, I used a bit of sand in mine as well, I was just advising against using too much sand, thats all. Should have made it more clear I guess

    Those pics are darling! My new little guy sticks his front legs in his water bowl all the time :)
